Samsung to launch the world’s first 1TB eUFS (embedded Universal Flash Storage). Hand sets will be able to carry one terabyte of storage with a single flash memory chip.

Samsung memory marketing VP Cheol Choi says in a statement that the 1TB eUFS is “expected to play a critical role in bringing a more notebook-like user experience to the next generation of mobile devices.”

Samsung’s previous 512GB unit and has read speeds of up to 1,000 megabytes a second; that’s 10 times the speed of a typical microSD card, according to Samsung.

A year ago, Samsung promoted the Galaxy Note 9 as “1 terabyte ready,” but that’s only if you insert a 512GB microSD card the highest capacity currently available into the 512GB model.

Realme Targets 30% Sales Increase In 2021

After making its debut in the Kenyan smartphone market in 2020 with a record release of more than six gadgets in the market, realme now has eyes focused on bigger goals with a target to increase their sales by at least 30 percent in 2021.

This year, the smartphone brand will focus on continuously enriching its products and provide suitable young and trend-setting products to users in Kenya. It shall capitalize on the synchronization of our brand, terminal, and sales in order to achieve the said target

According to realme, the smartphone maker has plans for more releases this year that will be tailored towards the needs of Kenyan millennials in line with the current technological trends to give them both value for money and comfortability.

These two smartphones are beating Apple in the global market

Concurring to available quarterly deals figures, Samsung and Huawei have come out well ahead of Apple in terms of smartphone shipments.

According to figures from Canalys, Q3 shipments of smartphones in 2019 , Samsung is driving the pack with 78.9 million units, taken after by Huawei at 66.8 million, with Apple completing the top three with deals of 43.5 million units.
